Medical massage is outcome-based massage therapy.  It is the application of a specific treatment targeted to a specific problem. Michelle utilizes a variety of therapeutic techniques, including deep tissue and trigger point therapy, active and passive stretching, gentle traction of limbs and spine, as well as gentle, relaxing effleurage strokes to integrate the entire body and give the client a sense of peaceful connection and grounding.

During the initial appointment, Michelle does a thorough intake, including medical history, surgeries, medications, diet, alcohol and tobacco use, exercise routine, life stressors, and sleep patterns. She assess her client’s posture and pain patterns. Massage therapy sessions are either 60 or 90 minutes and are focused on reducing stress, pain relief or injury rehabilitation.
